Rail & Marine Wiper Project Review

Use this page to prepare a rail and marine enquiry and identify the installation information needed for a LEILI configuration review. Brand names and vehicle descriptions provide context; they are not a product interchange list.

How to use a brand or model reference

A train family, shipbuilder or vessel class name is not evidence of a verified LEILI installation. Rail and marine configurations require review against the actual cab or bridge-window project and the evidence requested for that project.

LEILI model numbers identify our own products or general layout references. They are not OE-number cross-references. A reference to a vehicle or equipment brand does not state an authorised partnership, original-equipment supply relationship, product approval or guaranteed fitment.

Information needed for this application

AreaWhat to send
Rail vehicle projectVehicle/project and cab/window identification, glazing and mounting drawing, electrical supply and the project’s stated requirements.
Marine or ship projectVessel/project and bridge-window identification, window dimensions, mounting arrangement, environment and electrical supply.
Required evidenceDocuments, standard editions and sample/installation checks specified by the project; identify the responsible reviewer.
Configuration and orderMotor, mechanism, arms, blades and washer items required, quantities and agreed drawing revision.

From an enquiry to a confirmed configuration

  1. Identify the installation. Send the information above, photographs and available drawings. Mark dimensions that still need to be measured.
  2. Review the proposed layout and interfaces. Confirm the wiping arrangement, mounting space, electrical requirements and requested supply package.
  3. Agree the project drawing and quotation. Record component choices, dimensions, drawing revision and any requested evidence or sample checks.
  4. Release the agreed configuration. Resolve open questions and confirm the required quantity and production configuration in writing.

Keep the reference status clear

  • Application enquiry: a brand, model or project has been supplied for review; fitment has not yet been established.
  • Configuration under review: drawings, interfaces or sample checks still have open items.
  • Agreed project configuration: the relevant drawing and supplied components have been confirmed for that project. Reuse on a different installation requires review.

This page does not publish a verified brand-to-SKU compatibility database or individual customer project records. Any disclosed project reference needs supporting records and permission.

Choose a layout or component starting point

KG references illustrate wiping arrangements rather than one fixed set of dimensions. Pivot spacing, arm/blade dimensions, voltage and washer configuration are agreed per project.

Prepare your enquiry

Include the brand/model or project reference, application, photographs or drawing, measured dimensions, electrical supply, desired wiping arrangement, components needed, quantity and destination. If you do not know a dimension, identify the missing item instead of guessing it.
