Begin with the electrical supply, mounting interface and load imposed by the complete mechanism. Matching wattage or the vehicle brand alone is insufficient. This guide identifies the inputs to collect before comparing LEILI motor configurations.
1. Confirm the electrical variant
Record the vehicle supply voltage and the existing motor label. Ask LEILI to confirm the selected voltage variant, connector pinout, speed-control arrangement and parking circuit. A page listing 12V and 24V options does not mean one motor accepts both supplies. Do not infer a pinout from wire colour alone.
2. Measure the mechanical interfaces
Provide the output-shaft profile, mounting-hole positions, available envelope, drive-crank arrangement and existing linkage geometry. Include clear photographs and a dimensioned drawing where available. Keep left/right and parking position references consistent with the drawing orientation.
3. Define the required load and operation
Describe the wiper arrangement, arm and blade sizes, intended sweep, duty and operating environment. Review rated torque, output speed, current and temperature rise at defined operating conditions. Stall torque is a short-duration limit and must not be treated as a continuous operating rating.
4. Confirm environmental requirements
Specify exposure and request the protection rating for the selected model. For example, ZD2533 is listed as IP52 following LEILI confirmation. Do not extend that value to the complete range. Review the installation and relevant report rather than treating a higher number as a universal suitability guarantee.
Compare candidates using one worksheet
| Field | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Identity | LEILI model, voltage variant and drawing revision. |
| Electrical | Supply, connector, speed control, parking circuit and specified current. |
| Mechanical | Shaft, mounting positions, crank, envelope and rotation/parking requirements. |
| Performance | Rated torque and speed at stated conditions; duty and temperature limits. |
| Validation | Fitment review, sample checks and agreed production configuration. |
Confirm the configuration before ordering
LEILI models are our own product identifiers, not a universal vehicle-numbering system. Provide the existing installation details and review the agreed drawing and supply scope. For a complete system, use the system selection guide; for electrical fault investigation, use the motor-current diagnostic guide.
Send the information needed for a technical review
Send installation photographs, the LEILI model if known, measured dimensions or a drawing, electrical supply and quantity. LEILI model numbers identify our own products or layout references; they are not OE-number cross-references. Contact LEILI for a configuration review.
